Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
No. A valid national driver’s license from your home country is accepted for up to 6 months. However, if your license is not in English or French, an International Driving Permit (IDP) is recommended.
Yes. Most vehicles are allowed anywhere on paved and well‑maintained gravel roads within Rwanda. For certain remote areas (e.g., Gishwati forest), please inform us in advance. Border crossing to Uganda/DRC/Tanzania is possible only with special permission and additional fees – contact us first.
We use a full‑to‑full policy. You receive the car with a full tank and return it full. Otherwise, we refill at market rate plus a small service fee.
Yes. Every rental includes third‑party liability and comprehensive damage insurance (with an excess/deductible of approximately 150,000 RWF). You can reduce the excess to zero by purchasing our Super Waiver option at checkout.
You must be at least 23 years old and have held a valid license for 2+ years. Drivers under 25 may pay a small young‑driver surcharge.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer, and mobile money (MTN MoMo or Airtel Money). Cash is accepted in RWF at our office. A deposit (usually 100,000–300,000 RWF) is blocked on your card or paid as a refundable cash deposit.
We provide 24/7 roadside assistance for mechanical or tyre issues. If repair takes longer than 2 hours, we’ll replace the car at no extra cost (provided the breakdown is not due to misuse).
Absolutely. Airport and hotel delivery is free within Kigali city limits. We’ll meet you at arrivals with a sign.
Yes – for a small extra fee (5,000 RWF per day). Please request when booking.
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup. Changes are always free if we have availability.
